Shipping & Returns
Processing Time
Michele Margaux processes orders within 2-3 business days of receipt. Please note that orders including prescription lenses are custom-made and may require additional business days for lab processing before shipment depending on the individual’s prescription. Once the order is placed, and prescription reviewed, an estimated delivery time will be emailed to the customer.
Domestic Shipping (USA)
Standard shipping is actioned via major carriers (UPS, FedEx, or USPS). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and weight of the package.
International Shipping
We ship to select international destinations. The customer is solely responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and taxes incurred at the destination country. Michele Margaux is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Michele Margaux is not liable for packages that are marked as "delivered" by the carrier. We highly recommend selecting a shipping method that requires a signature for delivery to ensure the safety of your order.
At Michele Margaux, we pride ourselves on offering small-batch, luxury eyewear. To maintain our high standards of quality, we enforce the following return policy:
30-Day Return Window
You may return eligible products within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns requested or shipped after this period will not be accepted.
No Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges. All frames must be returned and reordered with your desired preference.
Condition of Returns
Items must be returned in brand new, unworn condition, with all original tags, cases, cleaning cloths, and packaging intact. Any item showing signs of wear, adjustment, scratches, or damage will be refused and returned to the customer at their expense.
Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
The following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned:
- Prescription Lenses: Lenses are custom-cut to your specific optical requirements and are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you return a frame that was fitted with prescription lenses, the cost of the lenses will be deducted from your refund.
- Custom Orders: Any frames that have been customized at your request.
Return Shipping Costs
In excess of 1 free label provided upon request, the return expenses are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
How to Initiate a Return
Please email return@michelemargaux.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return label (first return) or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions (second or additional returns). Returns received without an RMA will not be processed.
Return to Make Prescription
If you have ordered a frame and would like to customize it with your personal prescription, please follow the normal return process and reorder the desired frame with your prescription through our website.
Refund
After validation of your return by our customer service, we will credit 100% of the amount on the credit card used during the purchase transaction. The refund can vary between 5 and 10 days depending on your bank.
Apparent defect
The customer undertakes to check the conformity of the product with their order upon delivery. Any error in delivery in relation to the order or apparent defect must be the subject of a complaint, within 7 days of delivery. After this period, the product will be deemed to have been received by the customer, who will no longer be able to rely on a delivery error or an apparent defect.
